Due to client demand PES are presently developing more powerful versions of their FSI engine based kits for the R8, B7 RS4 and S5 as well developing a totally new kit for the B8 RS5 and RS4 with the twin intake setup.
After much research the supercharger of choice will be the Whipple 140AX Twin Screw . Whipple superchargers are known throughout the world for their success at the drag strip due to supplyying a very broad power band with a high peak horsepower level. Only the screw compressor can give you this. This is due to the high adiabatic (up to 80%) and volumetric efficiency levels (up to 99.9%). The Whipple screw compressor is the latest generation, durable and dependable performance-enhancing item ever designed for either low boost or high boost levels.
The screw compressor is by far the best supercharger available today; it’s the only supercharger to provide a positive displacement design for maximum low-end torque as well as high efficiency for maximum top-end horsepower. No other supercharger in the world can offer the same unique benefits. Centrifugals and turbos have tremendous lag time during shift points, on-off throttle and off the line boost. Presently we've just fitted the first kit to an R8 (see image above taken just before fitting). firstly we found out that the biggest limitation were the high pressure fuel pumps so they've been changed and in the bosses own words "She's an absolute beast kicking out a minimum of 650hp and that's before the software is progressed!" Unfortunately snow has delayed further testing this week but check back for an update very soon or alternatively follow us on Facebook where we'll supply up updates as the information arrives. Once complete we already have an RS5 shipped in to start that development and then it'll be onto the S5 with the RS4 and other FSI V8's following suit later down the line.
Due to Audi Superchargers UK's success we've been able to negoitate better rates. Therefore as of today (30th May 2012) we can now offer much improve retail prices in the UK for all our supercharger kits as follows...

The hardware was the easy part, it was the software that took PES months but they are finally there and the news is fantastic, 570hp (+216hp increase over stock) and 509lb-ft torque (+185lb-ft increase over stock). By comparison the hardware was easy. MOre details on our S5 Supercharger kit page.

In the name of research Storm Developments had their PES Supercharged R8 mapped by a third party. The installation includes includes our exclusive 8-port water methanol kit and with that switched on it produced 637hp. That's a 217hp increase over stock and the torque is phenomenal throughout the complete rev range!

Welcoming our new dealers QS Tuning of Haywards Heath, West Sussex and Storm Developments of Aldermaster, Reading who both have a wealth of experience in the VAG market.
Audi Superchargers UK are pleased to announce our partnership with QS Tuning who will be offering all our supercharger and water methanol kits. With German tuning company ‘MTM’ no longer offering tuning with superchargers this was a perfect opportunity for QST to fill the gap with an alternative.
Storm Developments supercharger background has been more along the lines of using Rotrex superchagrers on Golf's (at least it's still in the VAG I suppose!). Their experience of such superchagrers led them to search elsewhere when they recently decided to enter the Audi V8 supercharger market, of course Audi Superchargers UK was the obvious choice!

The R8 kit is now completed. Running at 10psi it kicks out a superb 607hp (+187) and 467lb-ft torque (+150), an increase of 50hp and 30 lb-ft over the MP90 kit!
Despite PES's price increase we at Audi Superchargers UK have decided to keep the same price as the MP90 for the forseeable future and the first R8 M112 kit to be completed in the UK will be a special one off offer! See the R8 page for further details.
Next is the S5 which we are 80% of the way completed, again this is expeceted to produce far larger gains than the MP90 blowers. We'll keep you updated as further news becomes available.

Have turned up at 8.45pm on Saturday for the Saturday night special I was gutted to be turned away at the gate due to early closure. Decided having spent 3 hours on the road I'd stay over night in the local Travel Lodge and see what could be managed on the sunday instead. As per the time slip below I ran an impressive 12.38 secs / 112mp which is 2/10th's fast than last year!

On Your Marks is a charity event, now in its eleventh year, held at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in association with Asda to raise Children Cancer Charities Wishes for Kids, SPARKS and CLIC Sargent. The event features an open track day where owners will be able to put their cars through their paces at the Bruntingthorpe Proving Groud race track whilst giving passenger rides to the public attending on the day (each ride costing the passenger £5 donation to charity). This allows us to use the our cars for free whilst raising money for some good causes! The event also features 4x4, rally courses, air displays , a fashion show and much more. A great Family day out!
Auto Adrenalin have been asked to supply a selection of supercars for the event and as a club member how could I say no! Therefore the PES S5 will be on the track. It's an ideal opportunity to get a ride for anyone who's possibly interested!
When not on track I'll be parked up in the Auto Adrenalin paddock so come find me!
UPDATE: A fantastic day had by all! Congratulations to Auto Adrenalin for raising a total of £1,065 from members supercar rides @ Asda's charity day. Club members supplied a range of cars including an Ultima (blisteringly fast!), 3 x Nobles, an MK Indy, the PES S5, TTRS and a couple of Lotus's. Don't think any other gate could match that diversity! Personally although less laps than I'd intended to do (due to the brakes blueing) I had a great time on track, I think scared a few and managed an impressive 153mph down the back straight, not bad considering the Nobles where only getting 145mph! I'm awaiting some pictures of the day to arrive, when they you'll find them on the media page.

AmD Essex, based in West Thurrock, Essex (close to Dartford Tunnel) are announced as the Authorised Dealer for South East England. To have one the UK's best known Audi specialists onboard is extremely exciting for us.
AmD first came into existence in 1987 when the owner decided that his previous tuning business was in desperate need of a rolling road. Unable to accommodate a rolling road test cell at his premises (the workshop itself was not much bigger than our current rolling road test cell), new premises had to be found.
When the company moved in January 1987, the business name was changed to Automotive Developments to reflect the more 'hi-tech' nature of the business. Whilst still trading under this name to this day, the nickname 'AmD' has also been adopted. This was created by the customers and suppliers, who often shortened the name to 'AmD' for ease of use. This nickname stuck, and has since been adopted as the company logo.
From this point onwards the company began to specialize in the Audi-VW marque, forming their own VW-backed race team in 1990. AmD went on to win many a championship with AmD-built and tuned Golfs, which is why the company 'know their stuff' when it comes to engine and suspension tuning and remapping. This hands-on knowledge combined with a commitment to rigorous staff training and financial investment in technology, are why AmD are so highly regarded in the industry. It may also be why we are still going strong today, when many other engine tuners have been formed and have fallen by the wayside.
Shaun Hollamby, AmD Essex's Managing Director, has a VAG motorsport background going back over 30 years said, "We are immensely proud of our commitment to customer service whilst providing a level of expertise which is second to none. No job is too big or too small and is approached with the same level of enthusiasm by our dealer trained staff.”
